Hi!

My name is Dari Black. I have been caring for dogs and their puppies since I was in high school. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds from Great Danes to Pomskies (mini-Huskies) to Border Collies and now Golden Retrievers. Soon after my husband, Carver, and I were married, he got excited about raising Golden Retrievers. I had reservations since I already knew what a big job that can be! Additionally, I was concerned about the many health problems Goldens tend to have.

 

That's when we got the inspired idea to breed Border Collies, one of the healthiest and smartest dog breeds, to Golden Retrievers, thus creating the Border Goldens: friendly, gentle, intelligent, dedicated, and healthy. (Learn more about Border Goldens.) Along the way, Carver didn't lose his excitement about pure-bred Golden Retrievers, so we determined to raise the healthiest puppies possible.
